Extremely Over rates by Manjit Singh:

Extremely overrated and absurdly Over priced menu. Almost all the dishes are priced as if you are having a meal in a 5 star luxury hotel. We ordered a drink named “Mango Summer” which was Rs. 450/- plus taxes. Turned out they had poured Maaza or a Frooti in a big fancy glass with lots of ice cubes and a straw pipe in it. Such a shame.

We dreaded to venture into Manali during peak season given the humongous crowds,we stayed in a cottage 20 kms away. But we did make the occasional foray into Manali and on a friend’s recommendation went into The Lazy Dog bar and restaurant. We sat out side , it was absolute bliss, breezy, the River Manalsu flowing below and the wonderful host Manjot looking after our every need. The food was delicious and later we moved into the covered part of the restaurant to listen to the evening singer….. his medleys rounded off a beautiful evening. I believe each evening the restaurant has a different singer. Braving the evening traffic,inching our way into Manali, the Lazy Dog made it worth it all.

The have a decent sit out . The Italian and continental food is good. Chinese is not the great and over spicy. They don't have parking.
