Manu Market

Near to Mall road there is a Manu market famous for artificial jewellery. It is a good place to buy Tibetan handicrafts as well. Stalls are there selling colourful artificial fruit and cooking utensils, electrical goods. Some local shops also providing ponchus which are in fashion these days for youth. It is very attractive and comes in huge variety and colours.

Old Manali Market

It is a market near Club house best for bohemian jewellery, hippy style clothing, touristy souvenirs. This market is the hub of foreignTibetan Market travellers and backpackers. Prices are meant as per them so beware of the prices and should have good bargaining talent. You can also buy key rings from the street vendors with your name written on it. Woollen clothes are also famous here.


Tibetan Market

Tibetan shops you can get almost every part of Kullu Manali. You can buy tibetan handicrafts, clothes, jewellery and other unique items. Kullu shawls are also famous and can be buy from these shops.

Kesar / Shilajit

You will find lots of vendors walking all around Manali, Solang Valley, Van Vihar selling Kesar (Shilajit) and other Himalayan herbalKesar Shilajit Manali products. Kesar is used in cooking of Indian cuisines like kheer, hot milk, rice etc. Shilajit is found in Himalaya coming out from the rock cracks in form of red. It also increases sexual health and stamina. It also helps in stress releif.


Bhuttico is a shop in Manali established in 1944 by a group of village women. It is known to be best in the handloom shawls. It has won the National Awas from the Ministry of Textiles. You can buy different variety of shawls here. Bhuttico charges fixed price and is a good place to gauge price and quality.
