April, May and June are the main peak seasons of Kullu Manali. The main reason is the School Holidays. 80% of families make their tour plan for May and June and that too in advance. But truly speaking, We do not suggest to visit Kullu Manali in June.

Heavy Traffic Jam

Starting from Delhi to Manali its being heavy traffic all the days. As Manali is mainly connected from Delhi and Chandigarh, tourists coming from another part of South and West India comes down at Delhi only. From Delhi the journey starts either by Car or by Volvo.

In Manali you get stuck every hour starting from 8 am till 10 pm. Jam is so horrible that you will not able to enjoy any sightseeing places thoroughly. So the Places to enjoy in Kullu Manali in June month is just those where you can easily reach without stucking in Traffic Jam. Around 1000 – 1200 Vehicles enter Manali every day. Road are so narrow that its 1 Car can pass at a time. Even for Rohtang Pass one has to get up at 3 am to start the Excursion.

Prices goes High

Manali hotel rates in June goes 40 to 50% high. Some times it goes beyond the worth of the Hotel/s. Not only this every service in Kullu Manali gets expensive, like Adventure activities, Food stalls, shopping, Car hire etc. All this is due to heavy rush that shoots up in Manali.

Getting a Good hotel is very Tough in June

Untill n unless you have to made the advance booking and planning to seach for Hotel on arrival. Not possible ? You would be lucky enough if you can get the hotel even in range of 3 kms.. We do not suggest to be a running customer in May and June specially if you are coming with a family and kids.

Over Crowded

In May and June Manali gets over crowded. More than 30 Lakh people visit Manali in a Year and majority comes in Three month (Apr to June). Sometimes you won’t even get a space to walk on the Mall Road.
