A municipal corporation garbage vehicle has met with an accident near Bharyal under Baluganj police station in Himachal Pradesh’s capital Shimla. The driver has died in the accident.

The deceased has been identified as Vinod Kumar. The accident happened this morning when the driver was going to Bharyal plant with garbage. During this, the driver lost control of the truck before Bharyal.

Due to this, the truck fell down about 200 meters. As soon as the news of the accident was received, the people nearby reached the spot and started the rescue work.

They also informed the police about it. The police team reached the spot and took the unconscious driver to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. Shimla Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal has confirmed the accident.
